Flora and Ruby do not want to move to Camden Falls. But they don't really have a choice -- their parents are dead and their grandmother, Min, is taking them in. It's strange to be in a new place. But luckily, it's a very welcoming place.

Min runs a sewing store, Needle & Thread, at the heart of Main Street in Camden Falls. There, Flora and Ruby become friends with Olivia, who likes to organize things, and Nikki, who lives on the wrong side of the tracks. Even if Flora and Ruby never expected it to, Camden Falls becomes their home . . . and its stories become a part of their stories.

Are you interested in books that involve personal feelings the Main Street by Ann M. Martin is a book for you! book one out of a series is a story about two sisters who have to rise above a horrible tragedy. Ann Martin did a very good job on telling the purpose of rising above challenges and getting use to new things.

Main Street welcome to Camden Falls by Ann M. Martin who wrote a book about challenges and new things. Flora and Ruby two sisters who go through a terrible tragedy which means they are forced to move in with their grandma Min in Camden Falls. Flora and Ruby have to go through a lot. So will Flora and and Ruby learn to like Camden Falls?

I truly believe that this book is a success because Ann Martin stuck to her plot very well by sticking to rising above challenges. Also, the setting was a great ascent to the story, it painted a picture in my head throughout the book. While giving detailed descriptions.

My reaction to the story was I really enjoyed Main Street. There was some spots that could have been a little more detailed and descriptive but overall it was great! Ann Martin did a very good job on writing this book! I guarantee I'll read the rest of the series.

Main Street by Ann Martin is a great story that tells a summer of two sisters getting use to a new environment. This story was written to entertain readers and in my defense it met its purpose. I recommend this book to you!

This is a story about two sisters, named Ruby and Flora. Their parents die in a car crash and they go to live with their Grandmother Min. Min is short for minute. They become friends with their next door neighbor Olivia. They also meet a girl named Nicki. She lives on the wrong side of town, but after a while they become friends with her as well. The story goes on to tell about how the girls and Grandmother Min spend their summer. I really enjoyed this book. I recommend this book mainly for girls.
