The book Princess Diana is a very interesting and moody book. The mood switches from she's in love to she is getting a divorce to she is having her children. Sometimes i had to push myself to keep reading because i was very bored with the story. Princess Diana might be useful to you if you wanted to write a biography on her, it is packed with info but still fairly short.
"It was July 29,1981. for days, joyful, excited crowds had been gathering along the streets of London." Those are the first two sentences of Princess Diana by Joanne Mattern. The authors purpose of writing this book is to inform you about Princess Diana's life. In the book it talks about how Princess Diana was always favored by the press and houw the royal family would tell rumors about her so Prince Charles would be the one in the spotlight.
I think that the author did achieve their purpose pretty well because they have lots of good information and a well put together story. Princess Diana the book is succesful because it tells a true story about her life and includes many importan details. This book fails because i don't think that they gave enough details about a couple of subjects, like about the many charities that she was a part of.
My personal reaction to the book was that it was more interesting than just a couple of facts about Princess Diana. I also thought that the author did a good job writing a story about her WHOLE life not just the main parts.
This book is a great book for who ever is wanting to write a biography but not for people trying to find a fun reading book.

This book (the vampire diaries) is my favorite book that i have ever read. Great descriptions, perfect imagery it makes you think you are actually the main character. "Something awful is going to happen today", is one of the very first lines in The Vampire Diaries.
The Vampire Diaries is a great book one of the main characeters is Elena Gilbert an orphan adopted by her aunt. The theme of this story is love and vampires. The plot in this story is Stefan protecting Elena from Damon.
When i read this book i could not find any things bad about it. One of my favorite parts though is when Elena drives into the river and turns into a vampire. That part gives really great descriptionof what she looks like and what she feels inside like being angry and empty.
The Vampire Diaries is a book i think everyone should read because it makes you want to keep reading and never stop.
